Camps de jour

Originally from Hungary, the Vizsla is a medium-sized, short-coated hunting dog that is essentially Pointer in type, although he combines characteristics of both pointer & retriever. He is a “dual” dog, popular in both the field & the show ring due to power & drive while hunting & his trainability in the home. The Vizsla is lively, gentle mannered, demonstrably affectionate & sensitive though fearless with a well developed protective instinct (adapted from the AKC breed standard for Vizslas).
Most importantly the Vizsla is dog that is full of joy, playful and obedient, who loves to be with their people. If you want a companion that will not want to leave your side, a Vizsla is the breed for you!
